Music Choice: 27 June-3 July

Coming up this weekend is Wireless, and with it the return of Pulp to London. Before you join the ranks of 20,000 people standing in a field, ready yourself by standing in dark, crowded clubs.

Tuesday, Clientele side project Amor de Dias is playing Heaven with Destroyer.

Wednesday, singer-songwriter Lupen Crook is launching his latest album, Waiting for the Postman at the Slaughtered Lamb.

Thursday, the Blank Canvas classical series is at Village Underground. Performers include Mark Fell and the London Sinfonietta.

Friday is Canada Day. Celebrate the world's second largest country with festivities in Trafalgar Square. Blue Rodeo, Alex Cuba, and the Mahones will be performing, along with Inuit throat singers.

Saturday, dream poppers Lilies on Mars will be at Nambucca. Chilly Gonzales, the Hidden Cameras, and Woodpigeon will be at the Barbican as part of a further celebration of Canadian artists.
