Ticket Alert: Gigs on Sale Friday 1 April

It's been a quieter-than-normal week for new gig announcements, but here's our pick of Friday's on-sales:

  • Paloma Faith. The instantly recognisable singer-songwriter brings her unique fashions and theatrics to The Union Chapel on 5 May. It'll be interesting to see how her soulful sound fits the venue's gorgeous surroundings. Get tickets here.
  • Along with a whole host of anecdotes and his favourite three-stringed guitar, Seasick Steve comes to the Electric Ballroom on 26 May. The hobo-turned-blues-rocker has steadily increased his fanbase over the last few years - and with good reason, so get your tickets here.
  • Roll up, roll up, it's your last chance to see indie survivors The Bluetones, who embark on a farewell tour this year. In a last 'slight return' to the capital, they call in at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on 16 September. Pick up tickets here.
  • Like The Bluetones, Bryan Adams has been around for quite a while too. In fact, it's the 20th anniversary of his album Waking up the Neighbours. To celebrate, he'll be at the The O2 on 8 December. Tickets onsale from here.
  • The Summer Series of gigs at the very civilised Somerset House has been announced. Running from 7 - 17 July, acts include breezy indie-folk quartet Stornoway, the lo-fi sounds of Eels - plus Noel Gallagher's Beady Eye, Blondie and Ellie Goulding. Full line up and tickets here.

Also booking this week: Tindersticks at the Queen Elizabeth Hall (looks nearly sold out, so move fast), the always eclectic and exciting Meltdown festival, and Liza Minnelli at the Royal Albert Hall.
