Wireless Festival has struggled with an identity since it's launch, but if nothing else, it's a pretty fun way to spend a sunny weekend in July watching music in a field without having to go on a 4 hour train journey. And yes, we kid you not, after years of rumours, the close of Wireless 2011 will be headlined by none other than a reformed Pulp.
Apparently inspired by the success of Blur last year, Jarvis Cocker agreed to reunite with his former band members for a couple of festival shows next summer. Plus if you don't fancy a giant Hyde Park singalong to Common People (surely a pretty epic way to lose your voice) then we're sure that after 8 years apart some small warm up shows must be on the cards.
We'll keep our ears to the ground and let you know as soon as they're announced. For now, tickets to Wireless go on sale Friday 12th November at 9am, but Wireless subscribers can get tickets 9am Thursday.
