The festivities are over and your hangover has probably resolved itself, but that doesn't mean your week needs to be tame. Here are this week's gigs, sadly with fewer fireworks.

Garage-frazzled surf rockers Ganglians will be at XOYO tonight.

Tomorrow German pianist Hauschka will be at Bush Hall. For those of you that prefer indie pop to neo-classical composition, Tokyo Police Club will be at Heaven.

Pop punk punctuates the middle of the week when Four Year Strong pogo into the Electric Ballroom on Wednesday.

If you have a fondnest for cabaret vocals or an appreciation for orchestral pop, we highly recommend catching Hjaltalin at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen on Thursday.

Foals are playing a sold-out show on Friday at Brixton Academy. If you've already got your tickets, be sure to show up early for their hardcore but equally equine label mates Pulled Apart By Horses.

If you missed JD Samson's MEN last week, you have another chance to catch them Saturday at the Garage when they play as part of Ladyfest Ten.
