Armistice Day: Silence In The Square

If it's tricky to get your workmates to put the phones down and hush up for marking the Armistice Day two minute silence this morning, slip out of the office and head to Trafalgar Square. The Royal British Legion have organised a gathering for 'Silence in the Square'. A bugler will be performing the Last Post and Reveille to mark the Two Minute Silence during which there's an opportunity to reflect on the events of the past and remember the lives lost during WW1. Turn the fountains red with poppies. Hear the London Gospel Choir sing. And - um - The Saturdays are performing. The event starts from 9.30am.
