London Landlords Quids In?

If you've recently moved as a tenant this news won't surprise you: rents in the capital have risen continuously since January. Our own experience on the rental market recently confirmed this. Decent two bed properties with outside space were described as "gold dust" by head shaking letting agents and snapped up faster than a working printer on Freecycle. Stats released by LSL Property Services say the average monthly rent in London now stands at £972, which - if the average flat is a 2-bedder - London Property Watch would agree was optimistically cheap, unless you were settling in the outer reaches of SE20 or venturing up to Enfield. Feeling the rent bite? Or are you a Landlord still feeling lean? Let us know in the comments.
