Last Minute Listing: Walkwalkwalk @ Housmans Bookshop

walkwalkwalk have caught our eye before, holding walking events that straddle live art, theatre, local history and food tours. They explore the overlooked parts of east London, analysing their every day routine walks through the area and turning them into research walks, collecting artefacts, anecdotes, history and opinions from the streets. All this helps to really understand and document parts of east London, an area which is changing dramatically; in documenting their research and explorations, walkwalkwalk are also able to share it too. Tonight, walkwalkwalk present their archive of past walks at Housmans Bookshop, Kings Cross as part of their London's Burning series of events. Take this chance to view the posters, flyers, handouts, collected artefacts and accumulated anecdotes from previous walks. There will also be readings from of walk stories and "traditional walkwalkwalk refreshments." Quite what these are is a mystery but considering walkwalkwalk have conducted a chip shop tour of E8, we're going to bet these will be good.
