Princess Anne at the opening of the Museum in 1980
To add to the partying in the Piazza, London Transport Museum is celebrating its 30th birthday this weekend. Get to the Museum early tomorrow and you could be amongst the first 15 visitors to be charged 1980's admission price, a paltry £1.40.
There are plenty of activities on for the kids inside and out front, the Museum's 1950s prototype Routemaster bus RM1 will be open to the public to view and climb on board from 11am, free of charge.
