Edinburgh Festival Comedy Previews: The Landor, SW9

Who's doing what where in the run up to Fringe season.

If sketch comedy tickles you, head for Clapham North. Pappys, The Penny Dreadfuls and Idiots of Ants are all presenting preview shows in the Landor's curiously opulent theatre space.

Pappy's and Idiots of Ants are both fresh from major tours. Whether that means they'll be brimming with vim or hysteria, we don't know. Pappy's work in progress is "All Business" appearing on the same bill as the Penny Dreadfuls who are making a return to sketch comedy. Idiots of Ants have their own evening, trying out their fourth full length show.

The Landor also has an awesome beer garden with a massive old tree in it so hope for some balmy summer evenings in which to relish your chuckles.

Pappy's and the Penny Dreadfuls do 21, 28 June and 5 July, 19.30. Idiots of Ants play 8 and 9 July, 20.30. The Landor is at 70 Landor Road, SW9. Tickets £6/5.
