Here's another top nine pubs (the tenth recommendation was in Cumbria - check out fancyapint.com if you're heading up there) visited by FaP reviewers in March for you to try this month. Despite being ready and willing to travel all over London to road test boozers and report back to you, north and central pubs continue to dominate the top tens. If you'd like to dispute this there are two things you can do. One, make some noise in the comments. Two, get over the fancyapint.com and volunteer yourself as a reviewer. Cheers!

If only this pub opened at the weekend...

- The Shakespeare4P_sl.jpg (Dalston)
A pub so good we forgot to go and eat.

- Betsey Trotwood4P_sl.jpg (Clerkenwell)
Good beer, good food and great entertainment.

- Duke of Hamilton4P_sl.jpg (Hampstead)
See it while you still can - not many proper pubs left around here.

- Southampton Arms5P_sl.jpg (Kentish Town)
Instantly, one of the best pubs in London - from being amongst the worst.

- The Constitution3P_sl.jpg (Camden)
A good, honest and refreshingly normal pub.

- Rosemary Branch4P_sl.jpg (Hoxton)
Well worth seeking out.

- The Eagle4P_sl.jpg (Old Street)
No need to go up and down the City Road, this is the spot.

- Queen's Larder3P_sl.jpg (Bloomsbury)
A bit of history and a fine pint.
