The 8th Wood Green International Short Film Festival starts Thursday 25th (running until Sunday 28th) showcasing over 60 brand new shorts from around the world. Bundled into various programmes focusing on certain countries or genres (animation / documentary) this is a great way to check out new talent for the paltry sum of £3 / £1.50. Venues include the Cineworld, Wood Green Library and - for the first time - Ally Pally. For those who like their film to have a longer narrative structure, the Big Green Bookshop is hosting three free movie nights showing Coraline, Milk and Harvey starting on Monday.
