Suede To Reunite For Charity Gig

1801_suede.jpg Britpop vanguardists Suede will strut their achingly androgynous stuff for the first time since their 2003 split this March at the Royal Albert Hall, in a fundraising gig for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Don't expect to see Bernard Butler, though, the guitarist who was pushed out of the group just before the release of 1995's Dog Man Star; the six-string will instead be plucked by Richard Oakes, who joined after Butler's departure and worked on the excellent Coming Up and later, less fondly remembered, albums. The exact date of the gig hasn't been announced yet, but we'll fill you in when the details are available.
