Those of us without an iPhone (other mobile internet devices are, apparently, available) might want to take note of the new number for TFL transport information. Gone is the good old '020 7' number and in its place a revenue generating 0843 222 1234. London Reconnections notes that this won't penalise those calling from a landline but most of us will need the number out and about so watch out for surprises on your mobile phone bill. For now it's worth noting that if you call 020 7222 1234 you will be diverted to the new service at no extra cost.
