Shuffle With Art Saves Lives @ Volupte

artsaveslivespic.jpg The last Shuffle club night of 2009 mixes it up MP3 player style but with live acts this Friday. The newly established Art Saves Lives, which aims to give marginalised voices a platform, provides the artists Cosmo, Leon Walker, Jonny Neesom who will be shuffling it up for your aural pleasure. Supper club styled Volupte EC4 is the venue and it's a 10.30pm start so bowl along after losing your work mates in the pub. Wear red or black or both. £5 adv if you quote 'Shuffle'. £8 on the door. Facebook info here.

If you can't make it to the show they'll be on Resonance FM between 8-9pm and this is why - they need spaces for their artists to share their work. A space no bigger than a boardroom would do, for an hour and 15mins, any time of day. They erect poetry posts, put plays on in empty shops and warehouses, take art to the people... basically, if you have some space to lend you can have a wonderful, no hassle show going on for free. Already signed up are Ronnie Scotts, The Bush Theatre, The Hen and Chickens and The Gallery in Stoke Newington. Could you or your firm help? Get in touch.
