Comedy Preview: Colin Hoult's Carnival of Monsters

colinhoult.jpg If you weren't part of the mass exodus to Scotland over the summer, then you're in luck this month as the Edinburgh Festival transplants itself to London.

Along with other highlights of this year's Fringe around the city, the wonderful Colin Hoult has brought his hugely successful Carnival of Monsters to the Soho theatre until 7th November. Unsettling your expectations of reality from the outset, you'll be treated to a darkly unnerving, Vaudevillian cacophony of social outcasts. With the assistance of a mere handful of performers, Hoult will introduce you to a dazzlingly rich array of comic characters and bring a whole new meaning to audience participation. You'll leave screaming, but whether that's with laughter or with terror depends on your disposition. Friend? Friend...?

Carnival of Monsters runs from 5th-7th November at the Soho Theatre. Tickets £12 (£10 concessions)
