Playground Proposal For Kings Cross

Has there ever been a design that struck so much "WANT!" into us? This proposal by architects Feix & Merlin is one of five shortlisted in the competition to decide what to do with the old gas holder in Kings Cross. It's Grade II listed and can't be demolished, so how better to make use of the space than turn it into a giant helter skelter and trampoline? (Mind you, Feix & Merlin are a bit bonkers; look at their 'blue-sky' idea for changing the Tower of London.)

We know the winner is likely to be one of the landscaped / events spaces (though we also like the sound of the giant reflective ball), but can we at least dream of a massive playground at the heart of the Kings Cross regeneration? (Image from Feix & Merlin's website)
