Patrick Swayze Double Bill At The Roxy

1509_swayze.jpg Who's gonna stop Baby being put in the corner now that Patrick Swayze has croaked? The Roxy Bar & Screen in Borough have moved quickly in reacting to the death of the actor, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer yesterday at the age of 57, by programming a Patrick Swayze night for later in the month. The default wall decoration of any teen girl's bedroom in much of the late 80s and early 90s, Swayze will be remembered down the ages for a pair of films that, if you're bothering to read this, you'll probably already know inside out. Both movies, Ghost and Dirty Dancing, will be screened by the Roxy on Sunday 27th September, with the double-bill beginning at 5pm. £3 entry for both films. We're a little disappointed they aren't including Point Break, but you can't have everything. Now, if they can just sort out a 'best of' night for the late Keith Floyd too...
