Preview: Frontline Club Photography Networking Party

photogs_network.jpg If you fancy yourself as a budding photographer, or are an experienced snapper looking for new inspiration, head to the Frontline club in Paddington on Friday night for their Photography Networking Party. The evening launches with a panel discussion on the impact of citizen journalism on photography. Panelists including Turi Munthe (CEO, Demotix) and Marc Vallée (photojournalist) will set the tone for the evening, after which club members, guests and reps from photography organisations can informally chat over drinks at the bar. Three photography prizes will be awarded at the party (entries are due tonight, so be quick if you want to contribute), but if you bring your camera on the night and take a shot of the bar, you could be in the running to be exhibited in Paris. This might just be the big break you need! The Photography Networking Party is at the Frontline club, 13 Norfolk Place, W2 1QJ, on Friday 18th September, 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Tickets are £20.00 and can be booked on their website. By Michelle Newell. (Image / McTumshie)
