A mixed platter from the Londonist ladies this week, from art to activism via the plinth, courtesy of Sally, Hazel and Lindsey.

Thursday: Crash an art private view this evening between 6-9pm. Rock on up to NO:ID Gallery for Jonas Ranson: Deus Ex Machina with a sound performance around 8pm. Commercial Road, E1, free.

Friday: There's free film on the Flytower at the National Theatre with the BFI Friday Film: A Throw of Dice - a classic silent Indian film with a brand new score by Nitin Sawhney - from 10pm.

Saturday: Arty or Crafty? If the former, download a flyer here to get free entry to Artival at The Queen of Hoxton between noon and 7pm. Run by the Single Homeless Project, the festival promotes social inclusion and celebrates the "use of the arts' to develop confidence and enable expression".

Or get crafty this afty with the Bust Craftacular between noon and 8pm at York Hall, Bethnal Green. Admission is £2. Be one of the first 100 through the door for a free goodie bag and hang around all day for shopping, making and music.

Sunday: Wake up early, stick on your gladrags and get down to the plinth where a Londonist wedding will be reenacted between 8-9am. Later on, repair to the bandstand by the lake in Regents Park to enjoy free music (by way of a free reception) presented by the 606 Club between 2.30-5pm.

Monday: Discover the mansions of Green Park via a free guided tour between 1-2pm this afternoon. You must book as space is limited.

Tuesday: Join an argument in a pub tonight from 7.30pm for free. Is rhetoric a dirty word? Discuss this and other Big Ideas upstairs at the Wheatsheaf, W1.

Wednesday: Camp for Climate Action swoops on the City at midday. Find out how to be a part of it.
