Cattersea Crisis

You know that ad on TV for an internet dating site which attempts to matchmake via the subtle approach of a klaxon going off announcing they have TOO MANY HOT MEN / WOMEN depending on which week it is? Re-imagine this with the siren sound of mewly yowls and a parade of cartoon felines and you've a slapdash telly campaign for Battersea which is currently overrun with cats. Their online gallery is full of the saucy minxes, preening and purring for your responsible attention. Kitten season came early this year (climate change?) so there's nary space to swing a Manx down SW8 right now as who wants a mangy moggie when you can lose your mind over the cuteness of an iddy bitty kittie? This is rubbish, of course, as grown up, independent, clever (if you're lucky) cats are every bit as rewarding as pipsqueak purrers and with rehoming down 10% and more than an entire cattery's worth of cats on the wait list for Battersea, it's time you considered taking advantage of its tireless matchmaking efforts and helped a cat out of the crunch.
