Alice would be pleased. The Band of the Coldstream Guards has gotten itself a recording contract. Decca have conscripted the troops, and all parties concerned seem jolly excited about it. Marching bands and brass may not be your thing, but for patriotic Londoners this has to be one of the city's best-loved soundtracks.
