Preview: Marquee Of Moonbow @ Brockley Max

After enjoying a fabulous night of dreamy acousticy folk courtesy of Brockley Central, we felt we'd be utterly remiss if we didn't nudge you into attending the finale of the Brockley Max festival this weekend.

The Marquee of Moonbow takes place on Hilly Fields, starting at 5.30pm today and continuing for for three days. Take your pick of 100 performers ranging from comedy, poetry, classical, acoustic and jazz, film and DJ sets. Friday is the night to catch local jazz musicians recreate some film scores and Jazzman John Clarke. Saturday afternoon is for acoustic, folk, blues and jazz. Make sure you take the kids along to see The Fishermen too. Sunday is classical day; Brockley's internationally renowned classical pianist Julian Jacobson will be accompanying some of south-east London's best classical musicians - the perfect way to wind down the weekend?

The Marquee of Moonbow at the Brockley Max festival, 5-7 June, various times, on Hilly Fields SE4. Entrance £4 per day or £10 all weekend. Check out the Brockley Max festival website for more details.
