Is your handwriting appalling? Have you forgotten how to hold a pen and form flowing, lucid lines on crisp white vellum? Do you long to have a beautiful signature rather than a crazy, childlike scrawl? Alternatively, are you learning Japanese? Then you might benefit from a free masterclass in Japanese Calligraphy, this Thursday evening at the Horniman. Professional calligrapher Shoko Ono Sensai and his students will be leading a practical workshop in the ancient and beautiful art form. Turn up, tune in, Zen out between 6.30-8.30pm in the Education Centre, Horniman Museum.
