It's London Transport Museum's final late for the season tonight, laced with the salty tang of the seaside. Between 6.30-9.30pm visitors will be rocking to the sounds of The Squadron Leaders, all the way from the actual 'London on Sea'. Literary types, including one air hostess, turned burlesque dancer, turned writer will lead your imaginations away from grey Covent Garden and Travis Elborough, who you'd be expecting to be reading, will instead be indulging his other obsession, taking to the decks to play some desert island discs. As usual you do have to pay to get in - the Museum relies on admission charges, but if you haven't been yet, it's an excellent way to see the Museum in informal festive mode, a drink in hand and speckled with interesting guests.
