Slow Exposure Creeps Closer

In just a week's time the Slow Exposure exhibition opens as Slow Down London gets on it's gentle way. Which means that two weeks today, it's laid back party time. Come and join us at the private view of Slow Exposure between 6-8.30pm on Friday 1st May at Ray's Jazz Cafe, Foyles, Charing Cross Road. Admire the winning images, get lost in the entire Slow Exposure Flickrpool projected onto a wall, chill out to a special slow playlist, imbibe some relaxing liquids and indulge in some tasty nibbles from the Cafe. If you like, meet Londonist contributors and give us some feedback face to face or find out about how you could get involved.

Around 7.15 we'll deal with some formalities, introduce our judges and announce five special prizewinners and around 8.30pm we'll encourage you to join us at a local pub - The George, just a few doors up - to continue our celebrations later into the night. We told Flickr what we've been up to and they like Slow Exposure so much they've sent a bunch of goodies to share with you and if you're not already the bearer of a Londonist badge, make sure you pick one up on the night. RSVP to londonist@gmail.com - we hope to see you in a fortnight.
