By yonder blessed moon, make sure you celebrate Shakespeare's birthday today with the annual lecture at the British Academy. Professor John Kerrigan examines the oaths and vows found in the Bard's work - and we will swear by our sword that there are a lot of them. The lecture is free but there's only room for 150 people, so get there when the doors open at 5pm. It runs 5.30-6.30pm, followed by a free drinks reception. By our troth, that sounds a merry feast.
