East Wing Weekend Live Events

Heads up, far out art fans: East Wing Collection, On Time, is open this weekend and it's all about the liveart. Be ready to stroke your chin as Philip Lee bodypaints himself, top to toe and back again in Colours / 2009 and try and make sense of the blurb if you can as Yason Banal presents a video and performance, Untitled/Again (Marienbad), that will be accompanied by (we quote) students in "a doom couture styled tableaux vivant". We've no idea how this will manifest itself so best go along and check it out first hand. Admission is free and the East Wing will be open Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 10-4, at the Courtauld Institute, just inside Somerset House. See www.eastwing8.co.uk.
