Combining eye-popping visuals with thumping Gallic electro-house is something for which Daft Punk are justly famous, but they're not alone. Like les robots, Etienne de Crécy emerged in the mid-90s but has spent more time giving other artists (most recently Cut Copy) the benefit of his production and remix wizardry, occasionally surfacing with a fresh and witty record of his own.
Now he's taking centre stage again, debuting his new 'Cube' show for the first time in an indoor UK venue at Matter at the O2 next Friday. From this recent video it seems to involve a very cool ravey light show, somewhere between Celebrity Squares and Tron:
Crikey - and we thought Daft Punk's pyramid thing was clever. Anyway, if his Super Discount 2 show at Fabric a few years ago was anything to go by, this will be something quite special as M. de Crecy can be relied upon to pull out all the stops. Hop on the petit bateau up to North Greenwich on Friday March 27th - tickets £15 here.
Alternatively if you're feeling that little bit lucky, we've got 5 pairs to give away. Simply fill in the form below and we'll let you know if you're a winner on March 25.
