Sure, we dabble in Photoshop but this is way more serious. Cut&Paste is a digital design tournament staged live which sees selected designers design against each other in front of your eyes. Sat in a row with their Macs, tablets and funny hats, with every mouse click projected onto a big screen the design loving audience can witness graphic art in the making and ooo and ah at every stroke of digital genius.
Cut&Paste comes to the Coronet at Elephant on 4th April for one night of designer heaven, having flexed its format all over North America. There are categories for 2D, 3D and Motion Design and to raise the excitement levels a little, there's loud music, MCing and judges hovering eagle eyed plus a whole stack of techy prizes. At the Coronet. Is graphic design the new rock n roll?
It's too late to enter but never too late to be a graphic groupie. Tickets are available for this bizarre night of spectating design, £10 online or £15 on the door. On the other hand, if you fancy covering the event for Londonist, email us now and tell us why and we'll get the most persuasive geek and a pal in for free.
We'll let you know by email if you've won by by 31 March.
