Belgian Film? You Don't Even Know You Want It

silenceoflorna.jpg A Belgian Film Festival starts tonight at the beautiful Phoenix in East Finchley. As they say, "Most English people probably wouldn’t be able to name even three Belgian films, but we can assure you that this is mostly due to our nation’s tenuous grasp on marketing rather than to the quality of our cinema which is as unique, varied and distinctive as the country it emerges from. But you don’t have to take our word for it; you now have the opportunity to see for yourself."

Tonight is a London premiere of "Moscow Belgium", a comedy drama about a mid-life crisis with a complimentary Belgian beer thrown in. Sunday is a triple bill from 2pm with 2 feature films, "Meisje" (Girl) and "Le Silence de Lorna" plus an animated short about a wabbit.

We have five pairs of free tickets to Sunday's triple bill to giveaway. Simply enter your details below and we'll contact you by 5pm on Friday if you're a winner.

The (last) Belgian Film Festival is on at the Phoenix Cinema, East Finchley tonight and Sunday, £8/6. See website for more details.

Competition closes Friday at 5pm. Winners will be notified by email. Image "The Silence of Lorna."
