If you're looking for something to entertain the Little Londonist in your life, head to the London Transport Museum this weekend to celebrate Kipper's birthday (it may be just the reprieve you need from the canned Christmas carols and the crowds of the West End ....)

Just a hop, skip and a woof away in Covent Garden, Kipper - Mick Inkpen's lovable pup - will keep you and your's entertained as he decides whether he prefers travelling by tube, train or in an iconic London bus. And the Little Londonists will love making up their own minds with lots of climbing and test-driving displays.

They'll also enjoy story time with children's entertainer Liz Fost and all the games and activities at this special party.

And as with all great parties, your child will leave with his very own Kipper goodie bag (including a copy of Kipper's Birthday, a Kipper poster, Kipper ears and colouring sheets).

Buy tickets in advance by calling 020 7565 7298. Sessions on Saturday 6 or Sunday 7 December at 11.00 to 12.00 or 14.00 to 15.00. Tickets cost £10.00 per child with one accompanying adult free.

As part of the party you can also take advantage of the Museum's special pricing. Admission to the Museum galleries is free for children; and up to 2 adults per pre-booked party-goer receive 50% off the entry price.
