Fairtrade Capital Of The World!

Sounds impressive, huh? Well, the fact that 1,000 retailers and 600 catering outlets in the capital signed up to the campaign and now sell products which carry the Fairtrade mark is quite an achievement. Museums, the Houses of Parliament and the Metropolitan Police are among the supporters. We still can't buy Fairtrade in our local shop but hopefully it's only a matter of time. To celebrate, the Fairtrade Campaign Bus will be "launching spontaneous celebrations" across the capital so we can only imagine you should watch out for hails of ethically plucked nuts, plumes of eco-friendly, properly priced smoothie and cooperatively farmed cocoa choco bombs being fired from the top of a double decker bus near you.
