Black Box Recorder Reform

If you're not obsessed with minor cult-y bands from the late 90s this is probably of no interest to you. To us we've currently running about shouting OMG!!!!! at the announcement of a Black Box Recorder gig in October. The band have reformed to join a lineup headlined by Jesus and Mary Chain at The Forum on October 27 as part of a memorial night for Nick Sanderson. Nick died earlier in the year from cancer, and was a former drummer for J&M Chain as well as founding Earl Brutus.

With our synth pop love we're amazed to see Black Box Recorder on the bill playing their first gig since splitting in 2003. Since then they've all worked on solo projects and we were pretty certain they'd never get back together. Also on the bill is British Sea Power who missed out on last night's Mercury Prize.

Tickets are £20 with full details here. Can't wait.
