Every day this month the Londonist team will be pointing you in the direction of a Christmas present that (with a bit of luck) you won't already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we'll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings...

How do you get people to cycle more? Ken would like to know I'm sure. Well, let's hope someone buys him some Green Knickers this Christmas. They come with special, removable padding to protect those precious bits from that beastly saddle.

Greenknickers.org is a small South London based company making knickers for him and her out of the most delectable bamboo/cotton mix fabrics. They're 100% organic, 100% fair trade and 100% "my don't they feel nice!".

Admittedly, the velcro landing strip isn't exactly sexy but these pants would make a smashing present for the cyclist in your life.

It's too late to order online now but you can pick a pair in a beautiful, green gift box at Fresh and Wild or Equa Clothing in Camden, SO Organic in Greenwich and It's a Green Thing in Crystal Palace. That'll be £25 ethically, amusingly and comfortably well spent.
