If you’re a fan of musicals then you probably think the bigger the better. In which case you must pop down to the BFI Imax, where their After-Dark All-Nighter event will be screening four modern musicals on the trot on Saturday 8th December.

First off the bat is 1980’s high school classic Fame at 11.15pm where the students of the New York High School for Performing Arts discover sex and show tunes. For those seeking something a little more suave The Blues Brothers starring Dan Akyroyd and John Belushi is up at 2am.

Catherine Zeta-Jones will be flashing her legs and belting out the big numbers from Chicago at 4.45am, with a little help from Renée Zellweger’s sexy pouting and Richard Gere’s fabulously sleazy lawyer. The event finishes at 7am with everybody’s favourite modern musical Moulin Rouge. Baz Luhrman delivers everything from Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman dancing around in a giant white elephant to an opulent three-hankie climax. At 9.10am it will finally be time to toe-tap your way to a comfy bed.

There'll be a licensed bar for those requiring inebriation before they start singing along while hot dogs and snacks are available throughout the night, with free tea and coffee on tap to make sure you remain transfixed on the glitter and glamour of all those song and dance numbers.

To win a pair of tickets worth £50 enter your details in the form below. The lucky winner will be notified on Thursday.
