Here's something you don't get to do every day (unless you're in the SAS):

Children's charity NCH is looking for more than 200 participants to abseil down 350ft (25 floors) from the top of the Union Jack Club at Waterloo.

Wow. We reckon people would pay to do this even if the money was going to an evil cause. The best bit is that you can do it on your lunch hour:

"The Union Jack Building is less than a minute's walk from Waterloo Station, so you can complete your abseil and be back in work in no time," says NCH's Kate Radford.

That's got to beat sitting on a park bench, eating an overpriced tuna sarnie while watching students enjoying their freedom before you go back to your desk and try and slit your wrists with a broken USB drive.

Full details of how to get involved on the SE1 page. We're looking forward to lots of photos and YouTube footage.
