What at first appears to be London's tiniest pub is nothing of the sort. Head for the stairs and you'll soon find that this is a vertical boozer, spread out over three floors.

Each is decorated like a set from a 1970s sitcom, with grubby wallpaper, homemade furniture and brown curtains. If you carry on all the way to the top, you'll also find a diminutive roof terrace.

The only bar is in the ground-floor room, however, so watch out for puddles of beer on the staircase. Speaking of the bar, ale fans will be disappointed to find just one, crappy draught beer. This is a place for lager and cider drinkers, though a small cocktail list might also be troubled.

Glamorous this place ain't, but it does have a certain charm and character. Food comes in the shape of pizza or hot dog.
