Brewdog Shoreditch is looking a bit different these days. Five years on since the Scottish brewer took over this east London spot — formerly home to fellow beer-meisters Mason and Taylor — the once spartan bar has gone all boothy, aiming for a more comfortable feel that encourages dining.
As with all BrewDog sites, you'll find a standard range of own-brand ales supplemented with a large and ever-changing selection of guests. BrewDog, in its own words, makes 'beer with balls and teeth', including the liver-watering Mr President at 9.2%. Be careful.
Beer creativity of a different kind can be found down the stairs in the Underdog bar, which specialises in beer cocktails.
The food menu is a pun-laden litany of burgers, hot dogs and pizzas. Look out for the Cluck Norris chicken burger and the Soy Division dog (pictured below).
