What's This? A Vegan Chocolate Factory In London? You Must Be Cocoa

It may sound unlikely that London's first ever vegan chocolate factory was set up by an accountant, but it's true. When Andrew Kennard began to lose his sight in 2009, he decided to leave the numbers behind and turn his attentions to his first love: food.

In 2012, Desire4Food was founded and began trading artisan foods. A few years later, high demand for dairy-free chocolate led to the birth of Kennard's Artisan Chocolates. Four international taste awards later, Kennard's continues to grow his vegan chocolate range with exciting flavour combinations such as chilli and cardamom, raspberry and lavender, and golden raisin. We went behind the scenes at the London factory to see the delicious process in action.

Kennard's Artisan Chocolates can be purchased online through the website, or click through for a list of London stockists.
