
The new Cannon Street entrance at Bank station has been 'topped out' — signalling another milestone in the huge renovation works at one of London's busiest Underground stations.
As part of major ongoing works at the station — which carries over 120 million passengers if you count its connecting station Monument — the new entrance will give direct access to the Northern line.

It will also connect with a moving walkway to the Central line — which sounds preferable to dashing about the current labyrinthine system, like a headless chicken.
Now the entrance has a roof, dividing walls and operational rooms will be created across its 11 storeys.

With luck, you'll be making use of this beaut by 2022.
