You've heard of tag. You've heard of parkour. But what if these two sports were fused together?

Hint: it gets pretty wild.

Chase Tag is the crazy sport that sees competitors flex their parkour skills as they duck and dive around an obstacle-strewn arena. Think of it like a high-stakes version of good old fashioned tag. There's just one rule: don't get caught!

It's fast, dynamic and most importantly, easy to understand. Unlike other sports, there's no complicated rule book to follow, which means you can follow all the nail-biting action right from the get-go — perfect for those who've never experienced Chase Tag before.

Intrigued? On 9 September, you can catch multiple adrenaline-fuelled matches right here in London, as World Chase Tag swings by for its third annual championship. Some of the world's top parkour athletes are taking part, including fastest UK Ninja Warrior finisher Greg Ball, Ultimate Beast Master finalist Mehdi Hadim and Tavon McVey — winner of the WFPF Speed Comp 2018.

Entry to the event, taking place at York Hall, is completely free on the night, but be warned: spaces are limited. We recommend you book ahead for guaranteed entry.

Can't make it? You needn't miss out. Such is the popularity of World Chase Tag (it's received more than 140 million views on social media in the last 18 months alone) that the entire event will be live-streamed for those at home via Twitch.

The next World Chase Tag event takes place at York Hall, Bethnal Green on 9 September 2018. Entry is free on the night, but there is limited capacity, so booking a ticket is recommended. Click here to find out more.
