Donald Trump will make an official state visit to the UK in June, it's been confirmed.

The US President will visit the UK as a guest of the Queen from 3-5 June 2019, Buckingham Palace has announced. The visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, and Trump is also expected to visit France as part of the commemorations.

Trump and his wife Melania visited London last summer, and were met with protests. However, that was not an official state visit, but rather was classed as a 'working visit'. This time, he has been invited by the Queen on the recommendation of Parliament, and are expected to stay at either Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle . He will also have meetings with Theresa May at Downing Street during his visit.

No mention yet as to whether he'll be visiting the new US Embassy in the 'off' location of Nine Elms.

Now, what did we do with that balloon?
