An epic immersive experience opening in spring 2023 will lead visitors on an eye-opening safari through the natural phenomena of the seven continents, with narration by the inimitable David Attenborough.

When it aired in 2019, the BBC's Seven Worlds, One Planet — also narrated by Attenborough — was the most-watched factual TV show of that year. It received plaudits for its extraordinary footage, which included the likes of fireflies putting on a mesmerising light show, and uber-cute snub nosed monkeys huddling together to stay warm.

The BBC Earth Experience — which opens inside the purpose-built Daikin Centre in Earl's Court on 30 March 2023 — sounds like it'll be a beefed-up, walk-through, 360-degree take on the TV show, using multiple multi-angle screens, and undoubtedly cranking up Attenborough's buttery tones to 11. The experience, which lasts around an hour, will only be in town until the end of July.

If the notion of housing this particular show in a purpose-built venue sounds a tad hypocritical, we're told the Daikin Centre is demountable.

BBC Earth Experience, 30 March-31 July 2023. You can now sign up for pre-sales on the BBC Earth Experience website.
