The awards are broken down into four subcategories that reflect the world-famous London venue's eclectic offering: Best Group, Best Solo Act, Best Live Entertainment, and Best Sporting Event. The show that receives the largest overall share of vote will also claim the coveted title of Event of the Year.

Voting is open to all flavours of live entertainment fans — not just SSE customers — and comes with the chance to bag yourself a truly spectacular prize.
Every person who votes in the SSE Live Awards has the opportunity to enter a prize draw, with the winner getting their hands on two tickets to an SSE show of their choice*. That means — if you're lucky — you and a buddy could experience world-class entertainment at either the SSE Arena, Wembley or Glasgow's SSE Hydro without paying a penny.
