Free flower festival Belgravia in Bloom is back, with floral installations on an 'Into The Wild' theme popping up around the central London neighbourhood.
We can expect to see all manner of scenes from the animal kingdom created by expert florists, including peacocks at Neill Strain on Motcomb Street, and giant pandas outside Moyses Stevens.
A Jeep driven by monkeys and giraffes, made from multicoloured flowers (another work by Moyses Stevens) will also feature.
Timed to coincide with the nearby Chelsea Flower Show, this year's Belgravia in Bloom also celebrates the coronation of King Charles III, with blossoming depictions of 'kings' and 'queens' of various natural habitats.
Full details of Belgravia in Bloom 2023 are yet to be announced but previous editions have seen installations on display in locations including Eccleston Yards, Elizabeth Street, Eaton Square Garden, Belgrave Square and Motcomb Street. Comfy walking shoes and a camera are recommended if you're trying to visit them all in one go.
Various businesses in the local area join in with the Belgravia in Bloom celebrations, including special themed icing classes at Biscuiteers in Eccleston Yards, a special Into The Wild cocktail at The Lanesborough, and an art exhibition by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation at Catherine Best jewellers.
Belgravia in Bloom 2023 takes place 22-29 May. It's free to visit. Keep an eye on the Belgravia website for updates.
