Wands at the ready — a new Wizard Afternoon Tea is coming to London.

The Georgian House Hotel in Pimlico offers the three-course afternoon tea in its Pimlico Pantry. Begin with the Sorcerer's Apprentice section of the puntastic menu, and tuck into the likes of slow cooked beefwitched brisket with spiced tomato chutney and watercress, and Eggspelliarmos and wild cress served on beetroot bread.

Follow it up with eye of newt scones, curdled cream and crushed strawberries. Finish up with a lemon cursed tart, head popping chocolate lollipops and other sweet treats. A separate vegan menu is also available

If it all gets a bit much for you, book yourself into the hotel's magical rooms to sleep it off for the night. The Wizard Chambers are guest rooms tucked away behind a bookcase door, designed to look like rooms of a castle — think stained glass windows, cauldrons in fireplaces and four poster beds.

And if that's not enchanting enough, we should also point out that the hotel offers a cheese afternoon tea. Cheese! Magical indeed.

Wizard Afternoon Tea at the Georgian House Hotel costs £40 per person, with an extra £20 per person for unlimited prosecco, or £10 per person for a cocktail. Available from 16 August 2019. Advance booking required. The Wizard Cocktail Experience is also available separately.
