How do you fancy a free pint of Guinness, in London's smallest pub?

A tiny, cabin-based pub is opening up in Flat Iron Square in Borough this Christmas. The marketing wheeze comes from Guinness, who will be handing out free pints of the black stuff to everyone who manages to make it inside.

According to the press release, "The pub is modelled on Brits’ idea of the perfect pub, complete with cheesy Christmas tunes, board games and a cosy fireplace."

The pint-sized pub can hold just five people, and there are a few remaining spaces that you can book (for free) for Saturday 7 December.

The good news is that a special walk in day has been added. On Monday 9 December — between 1pm and 8pm — you can just show up to the mini pub in Flat Iron Square, and pop in for a swift one.

It's completely free, including the stout. But judging from how popular the booked slots were, there will be some serious queues. Get there early, and prepare to stand in line. After all, good things come to those who wait.

Guinness Pint-Sized Pub, Flat Iron Square, 53b Southwark Street, SE1 1RU. A few slots left for Saturday 7 December. Walk-in sessions Monday 9 December, 1pm-8pm. Free (but obviously there's no guaranteed entry).
