Take Afternoon Tea In A Flowery Giant Birdcage This Summer

A west London restaurant is serving afternoon tea in a floral-themed oversized birdcage this summer.

Guests at Bluebird Chelsea can tuck into drinks and nibbles, including afternoon tea, in the Nyetimber English Garden. The menu includes passionfruit curd macaroons, Snickers slices, banoffee chocolate cups, and lemon meringue pie, with plenty of Nyetimber sparkling wines to wash it down.

The giant birdcage, which is decorated with "an abundance of entwined florals", seats up to six people for afternoon tea, and between four and 10 for drinks and snacks.

It's open from July to October at Bluebird Chelsea, 350 King's Rd, SW3 5UU. Advance booking recommended.
