The top of The Shard will glow festively up for Christmas again this year — creating what's become perhaps London's tallest Christmas tree.
The theme for this year's festive light display is 'reflection', and it's been inspired by photos taken of the building by members of the public throughout the year.
Every evening from 3 December, the top 20 floors of the 95 storey building near London Bridge will be illuminated for Western Europe's highest light show. The 30-minute show plays on a constant loop from 4pm-1am, with a special show around midnight on New Year's Eve.
The lights will reflect the colours of the London sky from golden sunrises, through to the pinks and lavenders of the sunset, to the dark blue of twilight.
