A New Ice Rink Arrives In Greenwich This Christmas

Good news Greenwich — a new outdoor ice rink opens in your 'hood later this month.

For the first time, a skating rink is opening against the backdrop of The Queen's House — a UNESCO World Heritage site — for six weeks over Christmas. Food and drinks stalls are open alongside the rink, selling drinks and snacks to warm you up after you've had a spin on the ice.

Little more information has been released about the rink yet, but we expect it'll have views towards the Old Royal Naval College, and the towers of Canary Wharf beyond.

Queen's House Ice Rink is open 29 November 2019-12 January 2020, 10am-8pm daily. Tickets start at £13.50 adult/£6.75 child, and should be booked in advance. See London's other festive ice rinks and things to do in the capital at Christmas.
